Gifteer presents its marketing affiliation program for e-commerce sites: Gifteer Suggests.

How does it work?
This program lets users browse gift suggestions selected for them. When they stumble upon a wish they would love to have, the users can click on the “I want this too!” button to add the wish directly to their wish list. Later, their friends or family may offer this wish to them !

Where do the wishes come from?
Affiliates e-commerce sites first need to create a Gifteer account (it’s free), and add wishes corresponding to the products they want to promote. Then they communicate the ones they would like to include in the Gifteer Suggests functionality. The wishes are checked for eligibility by the Gifteer Team (see below), and then the wishes are added to the Gifteer Suggests list and become visible to the users.

Which wishes are eligible to the program?
Since the wishes are supposed to end up as real wishes in our users’ wish lists, they have to be worded adequately, as if written by real users. As a result:

• descriptions that sound too commercial are prohibited. For example, descriptions like “Need a gift idea for Fathers’ day? This wine guide is the ideal gift …etc.” is prohibited.
• promotional and temporary offers are prohibited. For example, the description “-25% off on all massages before Mothers’ day” is prohibited.

Moreover, porn products and products not authorized for sale in France are prohibited.
Generally speaking, if you follow the spirit of the law (write a description as it would written by a realy user for its own wish) and the wish should be accepted. The Gifteer Team reserves the right to refuse wishes.
